JULIAN HÖHNE

Lawyer Julian Höhne was born to German parents in Munich. After studying in Munich, Barcelona and South Africa, Mr. Höhne completed his law degree with distinction. He is registered in Munich and Girona as Rechtsanwalt and abogado inscrito respectively, and authorised to appear in front of all district and higher courts in Germany.
During his studies as well as during his time as a trainee, Julian Höhne developed a special interest in corporate and tax law. He gained a detailed understanding of the law and particularly of corporate law whilst working at a renowned law office in Munich.
Through strong family and personal ties in Spain, lawyer Julian Höhne speaks Spanish and English fluently and knows the country and its mentality inside out.
The Practice Areas of expertise of Mr. Höhne include inter alia the right of inheritance, the tax law and the corporate law.
Mr. Höhne is a member of the Association of inheritance of the German Bar Association.
DANIEL PRIETO FERNÁNDEZ

The son of Spanish parents, Daniel Prieto grew up bilingually in Germany. He completed his legal studies at the University of Tübingen and Ulm with distinction. In Autumn of 2008 he successfully passed his legal exam in Madrid. His PhD thesis on Spanish employment law greatly extended his understanding of Spanish law. Daniel Prieto will receive his doctorate title shortly. He is registered as Rechtsanwalt in Stuttgart and as abogado in Girona and is consequently authorised to appear in front of all district and higher courts in Germany as well as in Spain.
Daniel Prieto has been working at the Dr. Höhne Law Firm & Tax Consultancy since early 2007. His main responsibilities lie in both German and Spanish law. Apart from our German clients, he looks after our English-speaking clientele.
JOAN GRABALOSA I REXACH

After studying law at the University of Barcelona and Madrid, abogado Joan Grabalosa I Rexach has completed an additional degree in European community law at the Free University in Brussels, which afforded him the title of Licencié spécial en Droit Communautaire.
Mr Grabalosa began his professional career as a lawyer in 1991. He has been working with us since 2001, whereby he is primarily involved in carrying out lawsuits. An English-speaking Catalan lawyer, Joan Grabalosa is employed to represent our foreign clients in front of the Catalan courts.
Abogado Grabalosa’s forensic activities involve civil law as well as criminal law. Mr Grabalosa is highly skilled and knowledgeable in both legal areas.
Apart from leading lawsuits, Mr Grabalosa looks after our French clientele.
SERGIO SANTS BASSAT

Lawyer Sergio Sans completed his law degree in 1996 in Barcelona and subsequently established himself as a lawyer there. He has worked in a variety of law offices. As a lawyer at a Spanish lawyers insurance, his main task was to represent his colleagues in liability cases.
Sergio Sans specializes in process and in property law and has been working in our office since 2005 in these areas.
DOLORES ESCOBAR HERMOSILLA

Tax advisor Dolors Escobar Hermosilla completed a degree in business management at the University Autónoma of Girona. Subsequently, she has completed a number of higher education courses in tax law at a variety of different institutions. Mrs. Escobar has been working as a tax advisor since 1988 and is registered at the chamber of tax consultancy in Girona.
Dolors Escobar has been working as a freelance employee for us since 1999 and is responsible for bookkeeping and tax consulting. Her many years of experience in our office have provided Mrs. Escobar with a great understanding and grasp of all tax-related questions that can arise in the legal interactions between Spain and the rest of Europe.
